Lino Cedros is a highly gifted clinician and truly a rare find. An amazing listener and intuitive caregiver, Lino never lets his experience and expertise get in the way of remembering that I know my body better than anyone else does. How refreshing! I grew up in the world of athletics and sustained more than a few injuries as a result. Throughout the years I would often re-injure myself, as athletes often do, and over time my body settled into a pretty painful pattern.

At the point in time that I was referred to Lino by some friends at work, I had been taking prescription painkillers for about 3 years. I was hurting, and pretty skeptical that anyone could help, as I had pretty much tried the gamut of available treatment options.

Well, the minute he started working on me, I thought to myself, 'This guy knows what he's doing!' Even after the very first visit I was pain-free. I no longer needed the painkillers--not even so much as a Tylenol. My friends at work noticed that I seemed "squared up" again--I had a neck again and didn't look like a turtle, posture-wise.

As a result of my experience, I've referred many different kinds of people to see Lino. They would all agree that they have indeed been helped. They went to see Lino initially because they were tired of being miserable. They go again because they've found relief. And they love that they know he is going to be up front with them about how he can help (or not) and that he won't require them to come in for unnecessary visits.

Lino is just number one in my book. He is just so intuitively gifted and deeply experienced that he has developed a finely honed insight into the human body. You know how Nike has that tagline 'Just do it.'? Lino's tagline should be 'It works!'

Lino is such an exceptional practitioner that it is hard to understand or even describe just how good he is at what he does. The truth is that his insight and compassion have been developed one day at a time, one course at a time, and one assignment at a time—little by little over the years.

As a Stage 4 cancer survivor, I’m grateful for Lino’s willingness to keep growing and keep learning, patient-by-patient, even though he is already very experienced. His willingness to not only listen to me, but to really hear me and not abandon me, has had a significant impact in my life, and the life of my family over the last year.

Lino has offered a welcome reality check in the face of my overwhelming odds by just reminding me that it’s okay to be tired and to need a break as I’ve fought through cancer over the past year. (Sounds logical, but it’s easy to forget when you are used to being healthy.)

He asks good questions, he’s empathetic, and most importantly, he remembers what is going on with my particular body and how it’s responding. And he never assumes he knows better than I do about how I should be feeling.

As a result of my treatments with Lino, my energy level is more consistent, my attitude is more positive and hopeful, and I’ve led a pretty remarkable life from day to day because he has helped me to have both the mental and physical energy to do so.
